Transportation
Our campus is located in Studio City with close access to major highways.
Bridges students live both locally and also travel from across the great Los Angeles area using private and public transportation.
With three of our four divisions (Phoenix 3-6, Middle School 7-8, and High School 9-12) based on campus, a clear drop-off and pickup area has been allocated and bell times have been conveniently staggered to benefit our families and our local Studio City community.
Please note that while our address is 3921 Laurel Canyon, the entrance to our lot and school is at the corner of Maxwellton and Mound View. The adjacent map indicates both locations.
Bridges encourages parents to coordinate carpools when possible. Please contact a division director or admin for assistance in joining a carpool.
Drop-Off and Pickup
Students will be supervised outside beginning at 8:15 a.m. Students should not be dropped off before that time and, once here, they may not come into the buildings until instructed by staff.
Except for those enrolled in an after-school program, there is no supervision available after 3:45 p.m. on Monday through Thursday or after 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
All cars enter the lot through the west driveway on Maxwellton and exit through the east driveway. Parking and stopping on Laurel Canyon is not allowed, but there is adequate parking on school grounds.
Parents driving Phoenix or H.S. students will drop off in the driveway between the main building and the gym, and then exit onto Maxwellton. Although left turns onto northbound Laurel Canyon are possible, traffic can be very heavy at times. Parents driving M.S. students will drop off in the back parking lot. Please drive toward the back and then turn right to circle clockwise into the queue for pickup.
For afternoon pickups, students are picked up at the same location as drop-off. The west wall of parking spaces (on your left as you enter the lot) are for Carpenter Community Charter School parents only during that school’s morning and afternoon carpool times. Parents and other visitors may use spaces on the west wall as available.
