Student Council
The Student Council at Bridges Academy was formed in January 2024 to enhance student voice and agency across all four divisions.
Comprising students from Grades 4 through 12, this forum affords all students a voice within the school. The council consists of up to four students from each grade level.
Student Council members sign a contract, which details the work, roles and responsibilities and behavior expected for the position.
Student Council members are expected to set and uphold a high standard of behavior and academic performance.
The main activities of the Student Council include:
Developing and implementing an annual action plan based on the decisions of the school administration and student council
Coordinating the agenda for the school leadership
