We are committed to making our program accessible to families from a variety of financial backgrounds, and we offer financial support for those who qualify.

- This includes academic instruction, enrichment programs, arts and electives, advisory, and many student activities.
- All families grades 4-12 are required to pay a $720 tuition protection plan fee, and new families must also pay a one-time $750 fee.
- A processing fee of $40–$55 applies, depending on the chosen payment method.
Bridges ACADEMY ONLINE HIGH SCHOOL
- Grades 9-12
- $37,500
- This includes academic instruction, college counseling for 11th- and 12th-grade students, and technology fees.
- All families are required to pay a $600 tuition insurance fee, and new families must also pay a one-time $550 fee.
- A processing fee of $40–$55 applies, depending on the chosen payment method.
Understanding the Cost of a Specialized Program
The Bridges program is designed specifically for gifted and twice-exceptional learners and includes small classes, differentiated instruction, and an individualized educational approach tailored to each student’s strengths and areas of challenge. Tuition supports the faculty, specialized programming, and learning environment that allow students to thrive.
Like most independent schools, tuition does not fully cover the cost of a Bridges education. Philanthropy and community support help sustain the program.
FINANCIAL Aid
Financial aid is an important part of the Bridges community. Approximately 30% of families receive need-based assistance, with awards typically ranging from 8–30% of tuition depending on demonstrated need.
Bridges Academy sets aside a portion of its operating budget each year to provide need-based financial aid to assist families with tuition. Financial aid applications are reviewed by a committee using information submitted through the Clarity financial aid application, including income, assets, and tax documentation.
Completing the financial aid application allows us to determine eligibility and level of need, but does not guarantee that an award will meet the full level required for enrollment. Because financial aid funds are limited, awards are determined based on demonstrated need and are designed to assist as many qualified families as possible. Awards are reviewed annually.
Bridges provides need-based financial aid only. The school does not offer merit-based scholarships.
2027–28 Financial Aid Timeline
Applications for 2027-28 will open October 1, 2026.
Families will receive their award determination along with their notification of acceptance. If financial aid is a significant factor in your decision, we strongly encourage families to wait until their award is finalized before submitting an enrollment agreement. Because awards are determined annually based on demonstrated need and the funds available for that year, we are unable to provide any estimations ahead of a full review, and final awards are also dependent on the funds available at that time.

FAQ
Do you offer merit scholarships?
No. Bridges provides need-based financial aid only. The school does not offer merit-based scholarships.
How is financial aid determined?
Financial aid awards are based on demonstrated financial need and are determined through the Clarity financial aid application. A committee reviews each application using financial documentation such as income, assets, and tax information.
Can Bridges estimate our financial aid award before we apply?
Financial aid awards are determined through a full review of the financial aid application and supporting documentation. Because awards are based on demonstrated need and the funds available for that year, the school is not able to estimate awards in advance of a completed application. Families who believe they may need assistance are encouraged to apply.
Can I apply for financial aid through the Admissions portal (TADS)?
No. Financial aid applications are not handled through TADS. Applications are accepted through Clarity.
What if I haven’t filed my most recent tax return yet?
Clarity uses the prior-prior year’s tax and income data to calculate a student’s financial need. You will be required to submit authorization for Clarity to pull your most recent tax returns directly from the IRS. Business entities: S-Corp, C-Corp, and partnerships will be asked to upload additional tax documentation (Form 1120, 1120S, 1065).
If you expect your upcoming tax return to differ significantly from past years, please complete the Other Considerations section of the application. This section will allow you to state your current financial status with any circumstances you feel are not represented by the other materials submitted. Please keep the information clear and concise.
Will applying for financial aid affect admissions decisions?
No. Applications for admission and applications for financial aid are reviewed separately. A family’s decision to apply for financial aid does not influence the admissions committee’s evaluation of whether a student is an appropriate fit for Bridges Academy.
What if our financial circumstances change after we apply?
We understand that family circumstances can change unexpectedly. Families who experience a significant change in income or financial circumstances after submitting their application are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office. While additional financial aid cannot be guaranteed, we will review updated information and determine whether an adjustment may be appropriate based on the family’s circumstances and the availability of financial aid funds.
